I have to confess, one of my favourite things about the evening news on television is that they broadcast the time of the sunrise in such an optimistic way, if ever I get a little bothered by the doom and gloom of ‘the end of the world is nigh’ type mindset, I make sure I stay near the television for the way a certain lady always declares that “the sun will rise at..’ (insert seasonally appropriate time here). Honestly it gets me every time. The sun will rise. Life will go on. It never sets without rising again. Honestly it doesn’t take much to make me feel good. The photographs from today’s theme The Sun Also Rises definitely make me feel good, and I hope the same for you!
