The foggiest day in Mandurah this year came during a week where I’ve been feeling a little bit lost in fog metaphorically speaking. I am busy preparing for an independent website for my business, Starzyia, which will also host this blog, and trying to cope with a change in paperwork, accounting and reporting since escalating from hobby business to registered business on the ABR with an ABN and having to do profit and loss statements, asset and liability lists, and depreciation schedule. Um… not known for my love of big, sudden, and very serious changes! But am known for loving paperwork once that paperwork is familiar and I am confident with it, so there is hope!
As I write, I am taking a break from taking inventory of all my supplies (accumulated over six years) and am having my ups and downs. The good thing is I am taking my advice and keeping lots of butterflies near me (they are a great positive symbol for coping with change) and I do love my pretty, pretty supplies, so inventory for them is far more enjoyable than other things (can’t think of an example here but am seeing nuts and bolts and ‘boy stuff’ or coffee – hate coffee with a passion) Oh what do you know, those were examples, nice!
My twice daily walks with Fizzy are still a source of great enjoyment, and here are some more pictures from our foggy day…
If you are experiencing metaphorical fog in your life, I hope you won’t lose sight of the path, and don’t let stress mute you – your voice can carry a long way and can bring all kinds of welcome support and help from others.
